Marketing integrators
What is a marketing integrator?
A marketing integrator is a third party service that is integrated into Core. The main difference between other integrations in Core and a marketing integrator is that the integrator has the main responsibility on UX and updating Core. This gives the integrators a lot of room to do changes and improvements without having to depend on Core doing the same.
A marketing integrator is normally an integrator that supports orders of some sorts (but it is worth mentioning that Core also supports marketing integrators which only opens their page/integration without having to create an order).
It is possible for a marketing integrator to both have one or more orders. When the broker clicks on “Ny bestilling” it is created an internal order in Core (Database). The order is then possible to update with both an internal (state) and external status to visualize the process for the brokers/end-users.
It is also possible to add metadata to the orders, which are key-value pairs with information. Other than updating the order information, it’s the integrators that are responsible for sending notifications, uploading files, automatic bookkeeping and bank transfer etc.
In Core, a marketing integrator can be displayed on a tab called “Tjenester” on the properties, but in addition the integrator can also be displayed in custom places if needed.
The customers can set up checklist points for each integrator, where they can create and update orders through the checklist on the properties. At the same time it is also possible to set up the checklist points in a way that they are automatically checked when one or more orders reaches a specific state (internal status).
